- MicroStrategy, led by Saylor, holds over 580,000 Bitcoins and remains bullish on long-term market trends.
Michael Saylor, co-founder of Strategy, said he wants to be a guest on The Joe Rogan Experience, and many in the crypto community believe this would have a huge impact across the internet. People who promote Bitcoin say that Saylor’s appearance on the podcast could “break the internet.”
In a May 31 message on X (formerly Twitter), Saylor replied to a fan account of Joe Rogan, who wrote: “Who’s an interesting guest you want to see Joe Rogan talk to?” He replied to Rogan by offering to talk to him about Bitcoin.
Crypto Fans Say Michael Saylor Could Influence Rogan
The post was soon noticed by Bitcoin users, resulting in many people speculating and getting excited. One of the most prominent Bitcoin supporters, the Bitcoin Therapist, stated,” This interview will break the internet.” Kook told their 164,200 followers that Michael Saylor is likely to convince Rogan about Bitcoin by talking about it on his show, making Saylor the “Bitcoin pill” for Rogan. Also, commentator Brandon MacDougal posted, saying, “This is the first time I’ll consider watching Joe Rogan if Saylor is alongside him.”

Because his show has the most listeners, Joe Rogan often talks about cryptocurrency. Before, Musk talked about Bitcoin in positive ways and described it as the best digital asset. When chatting with Sam Altman on his podcast in October 2023, Rogan said he finds Bitcoin to be the most intriguing crypto. Of all the cryptocurrencies, that one has the biggest chance of becoming a currency used worldwide. Things can only be done to a certain amount, but “I love that privacy is now protected.”

Although Saylor’s invitation has yet to get a response from Rogan, it would be in keeping with the precedent of having well-known Bitcoin guests on his show. Many times between 2014 and 2016, Rogan had Andreas Antonopoulos on the podcast, during the days when Bitcoin was just trading below $1,000.
MicroStrategy Holds Over 580,000 Bitcoins Today
Michael Saylor has a strong record in the crypto space. Strategy has around 580,250 Bitcoins in its portfolio, according to Saylor Tracker, which equates to around $60.47 billion today. MicroStrategy CEO Saylor has recently talked about possible reasons behind recent market changes and the lack of price growth.
Natalie Brunell interviewed him for the Coin Stories podcast on May 9, and Saylor explained, “I feel like we’re in a shift in the market.” He contended that those who bought Bitcoin recently are selling it, while a group of new investors who plan to keep their Bitcoin longer are beginning to appear.
Michael Saylor going on The Joe Rogan Experience would cause more people to take notice of Bitcoin. The crypto community is waiting for Rogan to give his response, hoping that what started as a buzz on social media will become a large-scale discussion.
